What Are You Following?  “Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.” 3 John 1:11 (KJV) You do what you follow and ultimately become what you follow. As a child of God, it is vital to be conscious of the things that are attracting you because whatever gets your attention is capable of influencing you for good or evil. No wonder the Apostle John exhorts Christians to follow or imitate what is good and shun evil. The one who practices good and has a godly character is of God, and the one who practices evil or tolerates evil has not seen God. Dear beloved, what are you imitating? If you are born again, then you are God’s seed. Thus you are capable of practicing good and shunning evil. If you still don’t know what is good, then follow Jesus Christ through the Word of God, and do whatever He does (Ephesians 5:1).
