Thank God for the Blood

Image
Thank God for the Blood!  “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;” Ephesians 1:7–8 (KJV) Thanking God for the blood of Jesus shows your appreciation for His grace and mercy. The blood of Jesus Christ is no mere blood; it is the holy blood of God. It is the only blood that could purchase our redemption from sin and its consequences. God is an infinite personality, and so is His power. Thus it was impossible for the blood of animals to take away sin (Hebrews 10:4–10). Even the blood of human beings from the root of Adam and Eve couldn’t take away sin because it is not pure and holy. Thanks be to God for the blood of Christ Jesus, the only begotten Son of God, for redeeming mankind from sin. Now mankind can access God’s grace when they believe and accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of their lives (John 1:17). Divine wisdom and understanding o

prayer feast

Title : Prayer Feast "Pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:17" Devotion : The apostle Paul wanted the saints in Thessalonica to develop the attitude of always loving to commune with God. He also wanted them to know that prayer is a lifestyle and not an event. Finally, the apostle Paul wanted them to know that the Holy Ghost is always looking forward to meeting them at the point of prayer. God is never tired of listening to His children's prayers. In fact, the prayers of His children are like incense (Psalms 141:2). The children of God need to feast on prayer: prayer should be enjoyed and looked forward to. Dear reader, do you enjoy praying to God?

hear thou my son and be wise

Hear thou, my son, and be wise, and guide thine heart in the way. Be not among winebibbers; among riotous eaters of flesh: For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags. Hearken unto thy father that begat thee, and despise not thy mother when she is old. Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding. The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him. Thy father and thy mother shall be glad, and she that bare thee shall rejoice. My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways. For a whore is a deep ditch; and a strange woman is a narrow pit. She also lieth in wait as for a prey, and increaseth the transgressors among men. Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes? They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek

meeting your maker

Title : Meeting Your Maker "Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. Ecclesiastes 12:7" Devotion : The scripture above illustrates that there is an end to life on earth. The body returns to the earth and the spirit to God who gave it. Those who do not believe that there is another life after death should know that when life ends on earth the soul appears before God for judgment. For it is appointed unto men once to die and after this the judgment (Hebrews 9:27). Those who have the liberty to rejoice are the born again Christians because they have passed life on earth and have attained eternal life. They are judged for rewards but the unbeliever is judged unto damnation because he did not believe in Christ Jesus. Let us live in this world with the mindset that one day we will give account to God for our stewardship. The almighty God has made Jesus Christ the Judge to judge the living and the dead. Dear rea
